What we play
Browse it allThe channel runs in strands. Every one of these is a real block of programming, not a genre tag we made up.
Why we exist
Somebody had to play it
Nashville radio has never had much room for this music. So it built its own rooms instead — dance halls, roadhouses, college-town bars — and now it has a channel too. This one runs all day, and it does not play anything else.

New to it?
Red dirt takes ten minutes to explain
It is not Nashville country and it is not quite Texas country either. It came out of the bars around Stillwater, Oklahoma, and it is named after the colour of the dirt there.
